Project overview
Sell your Place was a marketing challenge aimed at schools, asking students to sell where they live by developing a marketing strategy to advertise their place in order to promote their home towns and cities to international students and tourists.
They explored their 'place' through a tourist lens, looking at the range of opportunities available to visitors (such as the cruise ship passengers and international students), collating a portfolio of places of interest in the cultural and retail sectors (such as museums, shopping facilities). Students then developed a poster advertising their chosen sector and presented it to each other and the enterprise and teaching team.
